Murray has 14 years’ experience in forensic services. He specialises in all aspects of forensic auditing and has conducted numerous forensic accounting and investigative assignments in South Africa, as well as in Dubai, Egypt, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
He is a Certified Fraud Examiner with the International Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and has established excellent working relationships with the Hawks: Asset Forfeiture Unit, the Commercial Crime Courts and other specialised units in South Africa.
Murray’s recent experience includes:
- Undertaking numerous forensic audits involving millions of rands both in and out of South Africa as Group Forensic Audit Manager for the Sasol Group.
- Conducting a highly successful forensic audit into a corrupt transporter of coal, which led to a compensatory order of ZAR20 million, the biggest in South Africa at the time.
